Saving Detroit, Creating Jobs and the Obama Blindness:

Americans! Instead firing Rick Waggoner and taking control of GM and Chrysler the President is totally ignoring what would be an immediate CURE for the Economy. We must create jobs, save Detroit, begin a CLEAN ENERGY plan. There is a way out yet President Obama refuses to take us that direction. 

We must begin a NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PLAN NOW. We must force this discussion. On Radio, in Congress, the White House, all Editorial pages. Force the following to be part of the discussion!

Currently we have Cities and local Governments running fleets of vehicles and Public Transportation (Buses) that run on U.S. produced NATURAL GAS.

OUR BIG 3 vehicle manufactures already make the Natural Gas Engines and power trains that run these fleets! Assembly of these vehicles also happens here in the USA!! This Natural Gas is the CLEANEST BURNING fuel currently available to the WORLD. The USA has huge sources of Natural Gas, available NOW. America can utilize this resource nationally in a very short time period! In fact now!

So far Detroit has received billions of PUBLIC BAILOUT TAX DOLLARS. Detroit must retool. Detroit can refit for production of vehicles with the Natural Gas Engine and drive-trains. If the BIG 3 will do this they become competitive immediately. This must start today! This engine/power train can be used for ALL TRANSPORTATION. 18 Wheel trucking, CARS, SUVS, P.U.TRUCKS, Minivans, the popular style vehicles loved by the U.S. Public can be powered by Nat. Gas! The Big 3 Bailout dollars may disappear and the Government will take control unless we demand a move to Natural Gas! Natural Gas Hybrids are the immediate bridge to the future!! Why is this not being discussed!  Why is this not being done! 

Natural Gas passes and exceeds all pollution standards, gets great mileage, is abundant and at least 1/3 the cost of ANY other fuel currently available.

THE TECHNOLOGY IS AVAILABLE NOW. We know Natural Gas is available now and for many years to come!  An American fuel source! Producing Vehicles with Natural Gas engines puts Detroit back to work now! Natural Gas Public Transportation Vehicles for the urban population centers works. But Congress gives money to build trains from LA to VEGAS! That is just plain stupid! 

A National Natural Gas conversion policy is smart! Natural Gas vehicles will spur sales of our "BIG 3". Imagine “All” the jobs related to this industry that would stay or even increase if we do this! New high paying jobs would be produced in mass. IMMEDIATELY!

The required renovations of all the fuel stations in the Country to accommodate Natural gas would also immediately create huge numbers of jobs. This “Project” will also spur future design and innovation which creates jobs. When Congress hands out subsidies make sure they are for real jobs!! Not Frisbee golf course jobs!! All our tax dollars used for these BAILOUTS should be linked to "Great Ideas”.   A NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PROJECT is a "GREAT IDEA". 

New pipelines and storage facilities will be needed for the "National Natural Gas Conversion Project".  This would create many Construction jobs throughout the entire Country. NOW!

U.S. owned Energy Companies can provide the Natural gas needs IMMEDIATELY, and for a cost much less than imported Natural Gas/Oil!!!

With a Natural Gas Conversion plan our Nation will immediately decrease imports of Natural GAS/Oil. As we continue use of this CLEAN BURNING U.S. ENERGY Source, very soon we would not need to import foreign oil for transportation fuel needs!

Natural Gas POWER GENERATING PLANTS should be built. New grids built for the transmission of energy.  The benefits of a new grid incorporate the SMART SYSTEM! NEW CLEANER HOME GROWN ENERGY PROJECTS can tie into this grid. Thus Wind, Solar, alternative projects will be even cheaper to design and produce! The U.S. becomes the world model for CLEAN and renewable ENERGY! But we must get there over a bridge that can stand the weight. Natural Gas is that bridge!

President Obama says he wants to lead us to the future. BUT, his lack of vision relating to a NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PROJECT is the OBAMA BLINDNESS. The Presidents current plan allows for only a 3% increase in Alternative/Green Energy, 3%. That is the Presidents number! This gets us nowhere and gets us there very fast. A NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PROJECT will truly stimulate more Green Tech and hugely help the economy. 

Instead of nationalizing our Banks and Industry start a NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PROJECT NOW.

To stimulate our Nation out of the current mess our Dollars should go to A NATIONAL NATURAL GAS CONVERSION PROJECT! Many of us sure hope so!
